I hope this message finds you well!
After maintaining my blog, Murphy’s Law (since the early 00’s!) and creating a newsletter, now seems an opportune time to adapt, evolve, and streamline my observations and essays (including handy links to published work, interviews, etc.) via Substack. Nothing has changed, except your experience should be simpler and improved, so what’s not to love. In addition, I’m excited to introduce my brand-new podcast, Some Things Considered, where I’ll be in weekly conversation with remarkable people across the artistic, literary, media, and business spectrums (this will both continue and streamline my existing work at Executive Director of 1455 and engagement as a literary and cultural critic).
What You Can Expect from Some Things Considered:
Since I first began blogging, I believed it was essential to make my work free and fully accessible. I also want to provide the opportunity for readers to have complete access to everything I do going forward. By subscribing to Some Things Considered, you’ll be supporting not only my own work but also the mission of 1455, which provides free content and events year round.
Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm. As always, I’d love to hear from you, so if you have questions, comments, feedback, or have suggestions for podcast guests, let me know! I look forward to continuing my life’s work of celebrating creativity and building community.
